About two weeks ago, this site started getting some robot generated spam messages. To help block future spam, I’ve made a few changes to the messaging system. One of these changes you will notice when you try to leave a comment. Now, whenever you leave a comment, you will need to answer a simple math problem to prove you’re human. For example: _ x 1 = 3.
So far, every human “wink” who has commented has been super respectful, and I’d like to keep that positivity going as the comic and its readers continue to grow. To help ensure this, I’ve created commenting guidelines. These guidelines are listed bellow, and they also can be viewed at the bottom of each comic page. These rules exist for the webcomic’s users and their enjoyment. Violation of these rules will result in comment removal, and a possible ban.
1. Do not discriminate. Hateful, racist, sexist or discriminatory posts will NOT be tolerated.
2. Be respectful of others. Debate and discussion is perfectly acceptable, but trolling, personal attacks or rude comments are NOT.
3. No Advertising. Spamming and advertising are NOT allowed. Do not link out of the site for commercial purposes.
On a different note, I’ve decided to invest in my own large bed scanner/printer. I’ve started researching available models. And I hope to have the new scanner/printer within the next week or two. The comic’s original pages are hand drawn/painted on 12″ x 16″ watercolor paper. If anyone has a recommendation for a large bed printer/scanner, I’d love to hear it. 🙂
The next page will be uploaded next week Tuesday, September 6th. Yes, you read that right! Two page updates in a row! Normally, this comic updates new pages every other Tuesday, specifically the first and third Tuesday of every month. However since this August had a fifth Tuesday, you get an extra upload for August, and then the regular first Tuesday of the month upload in September. Enjoy!
