It’s such a treat to get feedback from you guys. I love learning how individual readers perceive the comic, and what they get out of it.
As the creator, I’m so close to the work that I have a very specific perspective of the story. And when I get to hear what readers are observing, I’m sometimes taken completely aback! Because you guys connect dots that don’t even occur to me, and I love that!!!!
And I’ll tell you a secrete. While I’ve been working on finishing the story’s plot, I’ve been taking inspiration from you guys. A few twists and turns yet to come are inspired by your comments. So, I just want to say thank you. Thank you for reading. Thank you for commenting. And thank you for being you. 🙂
Not a problem.
I enjoy, personally, the time you take with watercolors to bring out that which even surprises me.
Your gift of the light box inspired us, (my wife says thanks!), and the way you’ve portrayed your world building is fantastic.
Can’t wait for more!
Did I just see close-quarters combat?
Did I just imagine that?
Sorry, young Forestwalker; your strength depends the combat does!
Only time will tell…
I’m so glad you two appreciate the comic and found inspiration from the light box 🙂
I feel as if the “close quarters combat” she ignored will come back to haunt her…
Methinks little Miss Lark’s gonna regret that big time!
“Okay, this is my close quarters combat style : point-blank arrow in the face.” 😛
Arrow in the face!
Yeah-that’ll do it!
Thumbs up for that good one, brother!
I just have to say I am in love with this comic and your work. You do it all so very well, the watercolor, story telling and bringing joy to all those who read your stuff. I can’t wait to see what happens next with the close combat and I do hope that one of these day you get to start coming to cons or festivals to promote your work. I wish you the best of luck!
I’m so glad you enjoy the comic and the watercolors! Thanks for the kind words Hal. 🙂
There are a lot of plans I have for this comic as it grows. And cons are one bench mark I’m super excited to reach. I’ll make sure to give everyone a heads up when that becomes a reality!
